With PhDs in Management and Political Sciences, Elie Cohen has led a double career as researcher and lecturer. Research Manager at the Centre for the Sociology of Innovation at the Ecole des Mines, he went on to join the CNRS as Director of Research within the Public Policy Analysis Group. He has also taught a number of subjects, such as micro- and macro-economics, public management, the sociology of organisations, and the industrial and political economy at Harvard.
Serving the Prime Minister as a member of the Economic Analysis Committee, he analyses and compiles reports in public services and industrial policy on Europe, education and growth, the new economy, and world governance, as well as accounting standards and the information society.
